Brief

Openreach approached us to develop a distinctive brand identity that embodies growth, aspiration, and a forward-looking mindset. The goal was to create a logo and visual language that resonates with their mission of empowering individuals and businesses to reach their full potential. This included crafting a meaningful symbol, defining a bold brand name, and designing a clean, professional identity system.

Discovery

We began with an in-depth exploration of Openreach’s values, mission, and audience. Through collaborative workshops and competitive analysis, we discovered that the brand needed to reflect infinite possibility, direction, and personal transformation. These themes guided our visual exploration—linking symbolism like upward movement, light, and connectivity to the brand’s purpose.

Branding

The final logo features a dynamic circular emblem divided into four segments. It symbolizes a rising journey—moving from grounded origins to expansive possibilities, illustrated by the rocket and the night sky. The upward white path reinforces the concept of growth and guidance. The bold typography of OPENREACH conveys confidence and clarity, while the tagline Empowering Growth reinforces the brand’s purpose. The overall identity blends futuristic ambition with grounded trust, creating a memorable and aspirational visual presence.
